5.1 If our intended collection, use or disclosure of your personal information is outside the scope of collection, use or disclosure set out in this Privacy Policy, we will give you the option to opt out and not receive certain products or services or participate in certain interactive areas, or opt in.

5.2 You can also withdraw your consent where provided or object to the further data processing of your personal information under certain circumstances. If we refuse any request you make in relation to this right, we will write to you to explain why and how you can make a complaint about our decision. We may charge a fee to cover the costs of meeting your request if your request is unfounded or excessive.


Where you are located outside of New Zealand, the information we collect may be processed in and transferred between your location and New Zealand. New Zealand may not have equivalent data protection laws to those in force in your location.


12.1 If you reside in California, California Law (CCPA) gives you the right to ask if we sell or disclose your personal information to third parties.

12.2 We do not sell your personal information to third parties for others’ direct marketing. We have never sold your personal information in the past. California law also gives you the right to opt out of such sales.


Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted onto the Website. Unless stated otherwise, changes will be effective immediately upon being placed onto the Website. Your continued use of the Website means you agree to be bound by the amended Privacy Policy.


14.1 If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

14.2 For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

14.3 Information collected using Google analytics is retained for 26 months.

14.4 Information submitted through forms, such as email forms or contact forms are retained until such a time as the data subject chooses to unsubscribe or invokes their right under GDPR to be forgotten.
